New Executive and Roles

Board appointed for 2017-2018:  

Kevin Zhao will be the Chess in Library Coordinator

Roy Yearwood will be the Volunteer Coordinator 

Financial Support

Board unanimously approved the followings:

(1)    Supporting children for 2017 Calgary International Chess Classic

Budget: $500

Reimbursement of $50 of the entry fee to the first 10 registered players who have FIDE rating of 1500 or more.

(2)  Supporting children for Summer Chess Camp

Budget: $300

Reimbursement of $20 of summer camp fees to thefirst 15 registered players who have participated in at least 5 chess tournament and/or chess school.

Newsletter

Nimai, Andrew and Ian will be in charge of the newsletter.

Chess School Coordinator

The number of volunteers required for every tournament and the roles of the volunteers need to be specified.
