CJCC Monthly Tournaments

CJCC Monthly Tournaments usually are scheduled on the first Saturday of each Month. For actual date and online registration please check CJCC EVENTS

Location:  Renert School  Bright Minds Building, 14 Royal Vista Link NW, Calgary, AB T3R 0K4

Schedule:

                  1:00 – 1:15  Registration/Check-In

                                      (Players who arrive after 1:15 will be paired for Round 2.)

                  1:30             5-round tournament begins

Format: Players are placed in the following sections according to their ability

• Beginner

• Novice

• Intermediate

• Open
  

Prizes: There will be a trophy for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and top girl in each section and Girls. Other participants will be awarded colourful chess pieces.

Fees: Annual Membership $10. Tournament Fee $15 ($3 sibling discount and $5 discount for  bringing a friend who is new to the club).
