Registration: Pre-register at www.calgaryjuniorchess.com before 10:00PM on Mar. 26th. Thereafter, you must register onsite.

You need to be both member of Chess Federation of Canada (CFC) and Calgary Junior Chess Centre (CJCC) to be able to play the tournament, you can renew or join both organizations from

Make sure you get your CFC ID ready when registrating. 

Schedule: (Mar. 27, Sunday)

               12:30 noon – 1:00 pm  Registration/Check-In 

                 1:15PM   One hour chess instruction starts 

                  2:30PM   4-round tournament begins       

Format: Players are placed in the following sections for instruction according to their ability.

• Level 1 - Beginner

• Level 2 - Novice

• Level 3 - Intermediate

• Level 4 - Open
