On April 6 2024, 81 players competed in the Alberta Chess Challenge in Red Deer. Please join me in congratulating the following champions. They will represent Alberta to particpating Canadian Chess Challenge at Moncton , NB on May 19. They will represent Alberta at the Canadian Chess Challenge on May 19 in Moncton, Nova Scotia. The Team Alberta captain will contact parents soon to confirm if the winner will be able to compete in the Canadian Chess Challenge. If the winner is unable to participate in the challenge, the second-place finisher will take over.
