2022 Alberta Chess Challenge

By Sean Wu
We were informed that the 2022 Canadian Chess Challenge would be held online in June, and Alberta Chess Challenge should also be online as CMA (Chess and Math Association) required.

Now, Alberta Chess Challenge will be hosted by Derek Thomas in Edmonton, who will post the registration form in ACA and CJCC will repost after.

Derek has not decided the date yet, but most likely it would be Apr. 30 or May 1st.

We are planning to go back to OTB soon

By Sean Wu
We are supposed to have Alberta Junior championship organized by Edmonton Chess Club on Nov. 6, but they didn't have enough space to run the tournament, we won't have it this year.

We will organize 1 or 2 online tournament, which is Rememberance tournament on Nov. 20 and Novermber chess school on Nov. 28. Hopefully, after that, we can have our OTB tournaments in December.

Please remember to renew your CJCC membership before registering any of our tournaments.
